Iced Chocolate Brownies

(From Scratch!)

Items needed:
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs (large)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can chocolate (16 oz) syrup

    Cream margarine, sugar and salt together. Add eggs, flour, vanilla and syrup. Bake in jelly roll pan at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes, spread frosting on top when cool.

    Frosting:
  • 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

    Boil margarine, milk and sugar for two minutes. Add chocolate chips. Beat as fudge and spread quickly on brownies. Enjoy!
