German Beef Stroganoff

A traditional German recipe updated for ease of preparation!

Items Needed:


  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 lbs sirloin steak
  • 1/2 cup onion (diced)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 cup sour cream


    Combine flour, salt, and pepper. Coat meat with this. Fry meat in butter. Add soups, onion and water. Cook 1 hour. Stir in sour cream and mushrooms towards the end and cook a bit. Enjoy!
