Strengthening the communities where we do business forms a key component to the Rose Acre Farms commitment to stewardship. At each of our locations around the country we look for ways to add value to our communities through environmental, social, and charitable projects.
We believe in the importance of improving the environment in and around each of our facilities. We don’t just want to offset the footprint we leave from producing eggs; we want to make the area better than when we arrived. To that end, each of our egg laying facilities sponsor environmental programs such as tree planting, wetlands creation, and innovative recycling and waste reduction.
Rose Acre Farms supports a wide range of social groups, programs, and activities in the communities where we operate. We sponsor community events, youth activities like 4-H clubs, scouting, FFA, and local fundraisers. We donate eggs to breakfasts and fundraising runs, support programs financially, and give our time to various civic endeavors that bring communities together and promote growth.
Since 2008, Rose Acre Farms has donated over 19,000 cases of eggs to the United Egg Producers Harvest Food Bank, which distributes food in seven states. In addition, we give to local food banks and missions located near our farms and facilities. Each of our farms contributes eggs and financial donations to charitable causes that make an impact in the communities where we live.
