Pecan Pie

1 cup light corn syrup

3 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups pecans
1 frozen deep-dish pie crust

Preheat oven to 350o F

Mix corn syrup, eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla with a spoon. Stir in pecans.

Pour mixture into pie crust

Bake on center rack for 60 to 70 minutes. To tell if the pie is done, lightly tap the center surface- if it springs back, it it done.

Cool for 2 hours on a wire rack before serving.
