Breakfast Casserole
1 1/2 lb. sausage
9 eggs
3 cups milk
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
9 slices of bread (cut in cubes)
1 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese



  1. In a skillet, brown and crumble sausage; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs; add milk, salt and mustard. Stir in bread cubes, cheese and sausage. Pour into a greased 11x7 baking dish.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  5. Bake, uncovered at 350o F for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
